Why is checking your progress so important?

When your habit is not established, you do not do the task automatically. That is the reason why unexpected circumstances force us not to do our activities. The circumstances like bad weather make us change ours plans to jog in the morning or no internet access, when you want to work online. Marking if you have completed the task, gives you a chance to go back on the right track after moment of weakness. That is why checking the progres is very important.
